Every provider is also a credentialled in-network medical dentist with each and every medical insurance company TDSS is contracted with.
TDSS providers are required to maintain continuing education for the field of Dental Sleep Medicine so you can be assured of being treated by knowledgeable and experienced providers. Meet Dr. Martin Denbar
Dr. Martin Denbar is a native Texan and has been involved with the field of Oral Appliance Therapy for over 26 years. He attended his undergraduate education at the University of Houston and then attended the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston. Upon graduating with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1995, we went after duty with the Third Marine Division, Fleet Marine Force at Camp Pendleton, California and Okinawa Japan. He was also deployed as the dental officer with the 2nd. 9th regiment Fleet Marine Force during Operation Paul Bunyan in 1976. Upon returning from the Navy, he took over his dental school clinical instructor’s dental practice in Houston.
In February 1995 Dr. Denbar introduced the field of Dental Sleep Medicine to the Central Texas area. In 1999 he obtained his Diplomate status with the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and helped write the first examination for the Diplomate status. Since 2015 his private practice has been exclusively dedicated to Dental Sleep Medicine. He has successfully treated thousands of patients from the simple case to the exceptionally complicated ones.
Dr. Denbar has lectured locally, regionally, and nationally on this field at professional medical and dental conferences, dental, medical and nursing schools, hospital in-service meetings and State nursing and nurse practitioner conferences. He has also published articles and case reports in state and national medical and dental journals. Dr. Denbar is also one of the few doctors nationally with extensive experience using Combination Therapy for the most compromised and severe apnea cases that are considered untreatable. As a national leader in the field of Oral Appliance Therapy, Dr. Denbar’s strides into the field of medical reimbursement have been recognized on a national basis. With the formation of Texas Dental Sleep Services, Dr. Denbar’s efforts into the field of patient reimbursement will now be utilized to benefit the patients and dentists here in Texas.

To provide for transparent and ethical business practices for dentists performing Oral Appliance Therapy for the treatment of sleep disordered breathing. Our commitment is to increase patient access by joining healthcare insurers with qualified dentists to allow for in-network provider coverage.
